District 8 League and Scrimmage Game
Substitute Player Form

NOT VALID for Invitational, District,
Region, or State Tournaments.

To be used only if a team will have fewer than 10 skaters
and only to bring the team up to 10 skaters.


In the event a rostered player(s) is not able to participate in a scrimmage or league game involving District 8 teams,
a substitute player may play in place of the rostered player provided;
  • The substitute player is not from a higher level team or division
  • The substitute player is acquired first from within the local association and second from teams within the District or league
  • The substitute player must wear the jersey from his/her home team
  • The substitute player must abide by the player rest rules as stated in Youth Rules, Section VIII, Paragraph J
  • Substituting does not interfere with activities of his/her home team
  • The substitute player may play ONLY if rostered players are not able to play
  • The team must have the approval of the District Director on the Substitute Player form.
